Dr. Moses Maclean Abnory, Registrar of Takoradi Technical University, has been elected as the new Chairman of the Committee of Registrars and Directors of Finance of Ghana’s Technical Universities. His election took place at the Committee’s meeting on the sidelines of 26th Regular Meeting of the Vice Chancellors of Technical Universities of Ghana (VCTU-G) hosted by Accra Technical University.

Dr. Abnory succeeds Dr. Christopher Amehoe of Ho Technical University, who is set to retire in April 2026 after years of dedicated service to the sector.

In his acceptance remarks, Dr. Abnory was full of praise for the outgoing Chairman, commending Dr. Amehoe for his exemplary leadership, dedication, and contributions to improving the financial and administrative systems of Ghana’s Technical Universities.

Dr. Abnory expressed gratitude to members of the Committee for the confidence reposed in him. He reaffirmed his commitment to fostering collaboration among Technical Universities and advancing sound administrative and management practices to support the VCTU-G’s vision and national development.

Dr. Abnory will serve a one-year term as Chairman.
